Pray that every church will be equipped to start a new group of non-believers within a year, reaching the unreached people groups on the Asia-Pacific Region.

Pray that the USA/Canada Region will grow deeper in grace and be encouraged to walk alongside others in their faith journey.

Pray for the regional coordinators who are traveling to the region’s most remote areas to develop leaders as part of the 2x2 project.

Pray for a renewal of hope among the millions of young people who are struggling to find secure jobs and build a future.

Pray for more people to embrace the call of holiness and begin to prepare for full time service through ordination.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to move across Eurasia, re-igniting believers and preparing the hearts of those who do not know Christ to receive His salvation.

Pray for the new district in eastern Venezuela - that God will prepare hearts and resources to plant churches and strengthen existing ones amid challenges.

From the beginning, Nazarene Missions International (NMI) has been praying for the work of the global church. As a global denomination that ministers in 165 world areas, we strive to be connected and lift each other up in prayer.

This desire is not unique to the Church of the Nazarene. A heart for missions and the work of God’s Kingdom here on earth has always been the heartbeat of the church. Beginning in 1887, there was a call to prayer for missions that has grown into the World Day of Prayer. This movement is global and stretches across denominations. The World Day of Prayer falls on the first Friday of March every year.

In 1996, NMI joined this movement by observing a week of prayer that incorporates the World Day of Prayer in its schedule. We focus on uniting Nazarenes around the world to pray for the lost, joining God in His mission of grace and love to all.

Today marks the first day of this week of prayer. Pray to raise up a new generation of missionaries and missions-minded leaders for our denomination.

Also, pray that the Lord would continue to guide us amidst the complexities faced globally, and that Nazarenes will unite in His mission to the world.
